Who doesn’t want home to feel like a permanent vacation, where the day unfolds as the sun orbits around the space: morning coffee and the paper, mid-day work, afternoon calls, dinner and a nightcap?

Once an underutilized eyesore of a carport, the idea for this all day space grew from a love of classic cocktails and entertaining, and the desire for a dining nook, all within a small footprint.

The goal was to create a room that was simultaneously an aesthetic departure from the rest of the house, while also being a seamless extension. We drew inspiration from the ambiance of sophisticated boutique hotel lobby bars, with multiple seating
options, layered lighting, and a dark, moody vibe.
